In memory of our sweet boy Raven, 100% of the profits from this collection will go to support Old Blue Inc., a 501c-3 nonprofit organization that is solely dedicated to funding medical care for homeless animals at the Carson Animal Care Center in Los Angeles County, CA. This was the shelter where Raven was adopted in 2021 as a senior dog.

Their goal is to make the Carson Animal Care Center a leader in senior animal adoptions. Old Blue Inc. partners with rescues that pull senior dogs from Carson, funds their initial vet visits, and addresses any immediate needs, alleviating the burden on rescues. Once these initial treatments are complete, the dogs are better positioned to find loving homes.

This collar was designed in collaboration with artist Savannah LeCornu who is an Indigenous, self-taught artist and theatre maker. Savannah's art is centered on representing indigenous people and art forms. She works in these art forms to stay close to her culture, help preserve it for future generations, and provide her community with affordable art that highlights the unique style and creativity of indigenous people.

Raven’s spirit

I followed Raven’s journey with Loki and family, and was extremely touched by the peace I saw overcome that boy through the unconditional love he got in his final years. I had also adopted a senior GSD at the same time and lost my senior GSD at the same time. I love this tribute through art and charity and couldn’t wait to get one for myself. We got a new dog this year and as soon as we needed an adult collar we got it. Our Milly pepper sports Raven’s collar and I smile every time I see it poking through her hair! Keep smiling! Thank you!
